Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the stock in the yard. It can be quite loud when the cutting is happening nearby, so we’ve learned to talk over the noise. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just trying to do right by the people we work with. It’s a straightforward way of living. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families when the day is done. It’s a hard life in the stone business, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills, which is enough.
