Vinay Polymers

Our factory is down at Plot No 33 in Seie Kattedan Vill. We have been working out of S No 48 for a long time. It is mostly plastic work we do here. The machines for the polymers are quite big and they produce a lot of heat. In the afternoons it gets really warm inside the shed. We have a few big fans but they only do so much. We make different types of plastic items depending on what orders we get that week. Sometimes the raw material prices go up and it makes things difficult for us. We try to keep a stock of pellets in the back room. Kattedan is a busy industrial village. There are trucks moving around constantly. Our space is a bit crowded because we have a lot of molds lying around. My son helps me with the technical stuff now. We have about six workers who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than I do sometimes. We do not have a website or anything. People just call us or come to the gate. It is a bit of a dusty place but it is where we work every day. We just try to get the pieces made and shipped out without too many defects. It is a tough business with a lot of competition. We usually grab tea from the stall down the road during our breaks.
