F. M. Plastics

F. M. Plastics is located at Plot No 51/A in Kattedan. If you’ve ever been to Kattedan, you know it’s a heavy industrial zone. There’s smoke and noise everywhere. Our place is right in the middle of it. We work with plastic materials, mostly melting and molding. It’s hot work, especially near the extruders. The floor is usually covered in little plastic pellets if someone isn't careful with the broom. We don't have a receptionist. You usually just walk in and find someone near the machines. We’ve been in this plot for years. The roof leaks a little when it rains really hard, but we just move the bags out of the way. It’s not a place for people who like to stay clean. By the end of the shift, everyone has some bits of plastic or grease on them. We don't have a catalog or a fancy brochure. We just show people samples of what we’ve made before. It’s a simple way of doing things. Kattedan has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of it. We keep the machines running as long as there are orders to fill. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch. We usually have the radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the sound of the cooling fans. It’s just how it is. We aren't looking to be the biggest, just to keep the business running and the staff paid.
