Larsen & Toubro

This branch of Larsen & Toubro is at 150/10 on Nat Un Gram Road. It is in the Sahebbagan area near the Shyamnagar post office. We are in the 24 Parganas North district, or 24Pgs(N) as people write it. It is a bit of a way out from the main hub, but it suits us just fine. The road can get a little muddy when it rains, and we all have to watch our step. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much. We have been here for a while, and the locals are used to seeing us around. Inside, the fans are always spinning to keep the air moving. We aren't a high-profile corporate office with glass walls. We are more of a functional space where the real work happens. Most of the guys here are from the local area or commute from nearby towns. We keep our own hours and try to stay on top of the tasks we have. Nat Un Gram Road isn't the busiest street in the world, but it has enough going on. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on our name and the fact that we are here every day. It’s a practical setup for the 24 Parganas district. We take our tea at the small shop down the road. It’s a very human way to spend the workday. Nothing fancy, just work in a quiet place.
