We are set up at Kusum Villa, house number 101 A, which is right near Hotel Raj Kesar in Kota. Being in Rajasthan, it gets quite hot during the summer months, but the villa stays relatively cool. It’s a bit of a walk from the main transport hubs, but most people who visit find us eventually. We have been here for a while now and the space works for what we need. It isn't a huge place, just a few rooms where we handle our daily work. You can usually hear the sounds of the neighborhood in the background, maybe a car horn or someone calling out on the street. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception area because we prefer to keep things simple. Most of the time, we are just sitting at our desks or talking about the next thing we need to finish. The hotel nearby is a good landmark for people who haven't been to this part of town before. It’s a pretty standard residential area, so it feels very grounded. We like the quiet atmosphere of the villa. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall around the corner when the afternoon slump hits. It’s not a corporate environment at all, just a handful of us doing our jobs in a local setting. We’ve grown used to the quirks of the building, like the slightly creaky door and the way the light hits the office in the morning.
