Our place is in Pindwara, which is tucked away in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. It’s a rugged part of the country, and the work reflects that. We deal with Binani Cement every single day, mostly handling the logistics and the actual physical stock. The yard is large and often filled with the sound of trucks and loaders. It’s a hot place to work, especially when the sun is directly overhead, but we’ve got a good routine going. Most of us grew up around here, so we don't mind the dust or the long hours. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just make sure the cement is available for the builders and contractors who need it. It’s not a glamorous job. You won't see us in suits; it's mostly dusty trousers and work boots. The office is just a small room with a fan and some old wooden desks. We keep our records on paper mostly, though we use the computer when we have to. It’s a straightforward life. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. If a shipment is late, we wait at the gate. We don't use any fancy language to talk about what we do. It’s just about getting the product moved from one place to another. We’ve been part of the Pindwara community for years, and we just keep doing our thing day after day. It’s not much, but it’s our work and we do it right.
