Binani Cement

Living and working at the same place is just how it is for us here at Binani Cement. My address is House No: B 94, which is right inside the Binani Cement Ltd area in Binanigram. It’s part of the Sirohi district in Rajasthan, so you can imagine it’s quite dry and dusty most days. Since I’m right here in the township, I don’t have far to go for work, which is nice when the sun is beating down. The house is basic but it does the job. Most of the people living around me are doing the same kind of work, so we all know each other. Sometimes the plant is loud at night, but after a while, you just stop hearing it. We spend our days managing whatever comes our way, whether it's checking on the machinery or making sure the staff are sorted. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady. There is always a lot of movement in Binanigram, trucks coming in and out, people walking to the different blocks. I’ve been here for a bit now, and you get used to the routine of it all. We don't have much in the way of big city lights, just the work and the community we have built inside the company walls. It’s a practical way to live when you’re in this business. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
