We are situated near the Makariya Balaji Temple in Laxmangarh, which is in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. Even though our name has Goa in it, this specific branch is right here in the desert. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but it is a steady place to work. We deal with pens and various plastic items every day. The building is a bit older and the dust from the Rajasthan roads tends to find its way inside no matter how much we sweep. We have a small group of people working here who have been with us for years. The temple nearby is a big landmark, so people usually find us by looking for that first. Our office doesn't have much in the way of decorations, just some calendars on the wall and rows of boxes waiting to be moved. It gets very hot in the summer months, so we usually have the coolers running full blast just to stay comfortable. We don't really do anything flashy; it is mostly just checking inventory and making sure the pen shipments are ready to go out. Most of our days are spent drinking tea and going through the lists of what needs to be done. It’s a quiet life in Sikar for the most part, away from the big city noise. We just keep our heads down and do the work as best as we can.
