Khetrinagar is a specific kind of place, and we are located at Qr. No. C-116-Iia. It’s part of the township here in the Jhunjhunu district. Most people who live around here are connected to Hindustan Copper Limited one way or another. It’s a company town, basically. My days start early because the sun gets hot pretty fast in this part of Rajasthan. The house or quarter we use is just a standard brick building, nothing special to look at. We’ve got the hills nearby and the copper mines are the main reason any of us are here. It’s a very local vibe. You walk down the street and you’re likely to run into someone you work with. We spend a lot of time talking about the production and how things are going at the site. It’s not just a job; it’s where we live. The walls of the quarter have seen a lot of seasons. We try to keep things tidy, but the Rajasthan dust is a constant battle. It’s a practical way of living. We don’t have fancy malls or big theaters right next door, so we make our own fun. Sometimes we gather for tea and just chat about the daily grind. It’s honest work and a quiet life. The address might look like just a number on a map, but for us, it’s where everything happens. We just take it one day at a time here in the township.
