Ambuaj Cement Ltd.

This is the Rabriyawas unit of Ambuaj Cement Ltd. We are situated in Vp Rabriyawas, which is in the Jaitaran Tehsil of Pali district here in Rajasthan. It’s a big site and you can see it from a distance because of the structures. Being out in Pali means we deal with a lot of heat and dry air. The roads leading up to the unit are often busy with heavy vehicles carrying materials in and out. Inside the office area, it is a bit more controlled, but you can still hear the hum of the machinery in the background. We have a lot of people working here from the local villages. It’s a major part of the local economy in Jaitaran. The days start early before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of every day. We don't have much in the way of luxury, just some sturdy furniture and cooling for the staff. It’s a functional place designed for a specific purpose. If you are coming from the main highway, you have to follow the signs for Rabriyawas. It is a bit of a trek from the bigger cities, but this is where the work happens. The dust is a constant companion, but everyone is used to it by now. It’s just how things are at a cement unit in the middle of Rajasthan. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
