At R.K.Marketing, we operate out of House No. 47 in Gandhi Nagar, which is part of Ward No. 36 in Hanumangarh. It’s a simple setup in a residential part of town. There isn't a big sign outside. Marketing is the work, but it’s really just about connecting people with the goods they need. Hanumangarh is small enough that your reputation matters more than any advertisement you could buy. Our days are spent making calls and visiting shops around the area. The office is just a room with a few desks and some samples taking up space. Dust from the plains often blows in, but you just get used to it after a while. We’ve been at this for many years and being honest with people is how we stay in business. Fancy software isn't something we use to track sales. A simple diary and a pen work just fine. The environment stays low-pressure. We start the day with some tea and talk about what needs to be done. No one here has big goals of becoming a national brand. We just want to do good work in our own corner of Rajasthan. It’s a quiet life, but it keeps us busy and the people we deal with are mostly friendly. We take things as they come. If someone needs help finding a product, they know they can come to House 47. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the daily tasks at hand. It works for us.
