Hindusatan Zinc Limited

Our office for Hindusatan Zinc Limited is over in Vidyut Nagar in Ghaziabad. It’s a regular place, C-103 to be exact. Being in Uttar Pradesh, we get all kinds of weather, from the freezing winters to those really dusty, hot summers. We handle a lot of the local coordination for the zinc business from this spot. It’s not a massive industrial site itself, just the place where we keep the records and talk to the suppliers. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits. It’s a bit noisy sometimes because of the local traffic, but we are used to it by now. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing or trying to sound important. We just have a job to do and we get on with it. There’s always someone coming by with a delivery note or asking about a shipment. We keep the chai pot going and work through the stack of papers on the desks. It’s a very normal, local way of running things. We like being part of the community here in Vidyut Nagar. It’s a solid place to work, even if the building is a bit older and the stairs creak. We stay busy with the day to day stuff and that is enough for us to worry about while we are here.
