You can find us at B 68 in Zinc Nagar, which is a well-known part of Chittorgarh if you work around here. It is one of the residential blocks where Hindustan Zinc Ltd, which is under Vedanta Plc, has its people set up. The area is pretty much what you would expect from a mining town colony. It is functional and built to last, but it is not something you would see in a fancy magazine. We have been operating from this house for a good bit of time now. The street is usually lined with bikes and the occasional company vehicle passing by. In the afternoons, when the sun is at its peak, the whole place goes a bit quiet as everyone stays indoors to avoid the heat. We don’t really do the whole corporate branding thing here. There are no receptionists or waiting rooms with old magazines. It is just a workspace where we keep our files and handle the local bits of the business. Chittorgarh is a place with a lot of history, but in Zinc Nagar, we are more focused on the present and the work that needs finishing by the end of the shift. It’s a straightforward environment. We know our neighbors, we know the guards at the gate, and we just get on with it. There is nothing fancy about B 68, it’s just where we happen to be based for the work we do. It’s a real place with real people working hard every single day.
