Hindustan Zinc Limited

Living and working at B271 in Zinc Nagar is a pretty straightforward experience. It’s located right off Kapasan Road in Chittorgarh, so it is easy for people to find us if they are already in the colony. Rajasthan can be very hot in the summer, and this part of town is no different. We spend most of our time dealing with the usual daily tasks that come with being part of Hindustan Zinc Limited. The quarter itself is one of many similar buildings in the row. It’s not a place where you’ll find corporate lobbies or receptionists. It is just where we are based. We keep our files and our gear here. Outside, you’ll see people walking to their shifts or kids playing when school is out. The roads are paved but they get a bit rough in places. We’ve been at this address for a bit and it feels like home now, even if it is just a company residence. You get to know the rhythm of the place, like when the water comes or when the main gates are busy. It is a very local way of living. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just show up and do the work that is expected of us from this spot in Chittorgarh. It’s a busy life but it is honest work that keeps us going through the long week without much fuss or any unnecessary noise.
