J.K.Cement Works,Nimbahera

We've been operating out of Kalyan Bhawan here in Chota Takha for a while now. Most people know us for the cement work we do over in Nimbahera, but this Tonk location is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks, a few of us working on papers, and making sure the supplies get where they need to go. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, other times it's quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We deal with lots of local builders and people just trying to fix up their houses. It gets dusty, and we don't always have everything sorted perfectly, but the work gets done. Rajasthan is a big place and the heat can be tough, especially when we're moving heavy loads, but that's just how it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to keep the cement moving so the construction doesn't stop. Most of us have lived around here our whole lives, so we know the roads and the shortcuts. It’s simple work, really. You show up, you manage the orders, and you make sure the trucks are on their way. We don't spend much time on fancy websites or big speeches. If you need us, we're usually right here at the office in Tonk. It is just a regular local business where we keep the records straight.
