U.M.D.S. Pvt.Ltd operates out of a place in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. We are at House No. 109 on Shri Nath Gali. If you've ever walked down a narrow gali in an Indian town, you know exactly what it’s like. There are motorbikes parked everywhere and the sound of people talking. Our office is right in the middle of that life. It is a simple house that we use for our business operations. Rajasthan can get really hot, so we have our coolers running most of the year. Inside, it is just us sitting at our desks. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a computer or a ledger. We handle things for the whole of India from this little spot in Bhilwara. It’s interesting how a small street like Shri Nath Gali can be connected to so many different places. We keep our records in order and try to stay on top of the daily tasks. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails. We don't really have a philosophy or anything like that. We just come to work, do what needs to be done for U.M.D.S., and then go home to our families. It’s a very local way of doing things, even if the business reaches far.
