The building is a standard housing board construction, nothing fancy, but it does the job for us. We have three main rooms where we handle the administration and the sales records. Alwar can be quite busy, and our street sees a lot of foot traffic. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work on the accounts. It’s not a high-tech office; we still rely on a lot of physical files and handwritten notes. There’s a big desk in the front where we greet anyone who stops by. We get a lot of local contractors and builders coming through the door. The floor is made of old stone, which stays cool even when the Rajasthan sun is beating down outside. We have a small water cooler in the corner that everyone uses. The staff here is local, so we know most of the people who come in. We don’t use a lot of formal language or have complicated rules. We just show up, do the work, and head home. It’s a steady rhythm. The neighborhood is familiar, and we like being part of the daily life here in the housing board area.
