We are located out in Village Mokhawa, which is quite a distance from the main Barmer town in Rajasthan. Most people who come here for the first time find the landscape a bit harsh, especially in the middle of summer when the sun is really beating down on the desert. Our setup here is practical because it has to be. We deal with heavy equipment and industrial parts, so being close to the project sites in the Gudamalani area makes sense for us. The office isn't fancy, just a solid place where we get the work done and handle the logistics for Thermax Ltd., Pune. Some of the guys have been here for years and they know the local roads like the back of their hand. There is a lot of dust, and sometimes the wind picks up quite a bit in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking inventory that comes in on the trucks. It’s a quiet village mostly, but it gets busy when there’s a big shipment moving through. We keep a cooler running all day just to stay sane in this heat. It isn’t the kind of place with a lot of shops nearby, so we usually bring our own lunch or share what's around. It’s a straightforward way of working, focusing on the equipment and making sure everything stays on schedule despite the remote location. It is a long drive back to the city, so we mostly stay put until the shift ends for the day.
