Sri Ram Cements Banaskantha

We are located in Sector 4 of Hiran Magri in Udaipur, even though the name mentions Banaskantha. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but this is where we keep things running. The office is right there in Gyan Nagar. Dealing with cement is a heavy business, literally. We spend most of our time coordinating with the trucks and making sure the bags are stored in a dry place. You can’t let even a little bit of moisture get to the stock or it’s all ruined. There is usually a fine layer of dust on the desks no matter how much we clean, but that’s just life when you’re in the cement trade. We talk to contractors and builders from all over the region. Some days are very loud with the loading and unloading going on outside. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a few of us making sure the orders go out to the right sites at the right time. Rajasthan is a tough place for construction because of the heat, so we have to be careful with how the materials are handled during the peak of summer. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the local routes pretty well. It’s basic work, nothing too complicated, but it has to be done right every time. People come in, they pay for their bags, and we get them loaded up onto whatever vehicle they brought that day. It is a simple life but it keeps us very busy.
