Our place, Gee Cans And Paper Tubes India, is located at No. 1017D on Tenkasi Road. It's a straightforward setup. We have the machines running most of the day making the paper tubes and cans for various uses. It’s a bit of a dusty job, as you can imagine with all that paper and cardboard lying around. We’ve been on Tenkasi Road for quite a while now. The building isn't anything fancy, just a sturdy space where we can get the work done without much fuss. We have a few guys working the machines and another person handling the loading. It’s a lot of physical work and the days can be quite long. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth usually gets us what we need. When we first started, we didn't have much equipment, but we've added a few pieces over the years. The road outside gets pretty busy with traffic heading through, but inside it’s just the sound of the rollers and the machines. We keep a simple schedule and stick to it. Sometimes we run out of storage space when a big order is ready to go out, so things get stacked up high near the door. That's just how it is in this line of work.
