Shanmuga Traders

You can find us at number 12 on Chairman Shanmuganatha Road. It is also near Kaka Shanmuga Nadar Road, which makes the address a bit of a mouthful when you try to tell someone over the phone. Shanmuga Traders is basically just a busy hub for moving goods. The building is older, and the walls have that kind of yellowed look from years of sun. We have bags and crates stacked up almost to the ceiling in some parts of the shop. It is a bit of a maze if you do not know where you are going. We do not have any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in big ledger books because that is how we have always done it. The road outside is always loud with carts and people shouting, and it can get quite dusty when the wind picks up. We are just local people doing trade work. Sometimes we sit on the wooden benches out front when it is quiet and just watch the traffic go by. It is not a polished business by any means. We have our regulars who come in and we know exactly what they need before they even ask. It is just a steady, practical way to spend the day in a busy part of town. We keep the lights on late sometimes when new stock arrives.
