Aditya Exim is located at No. 59 Madathupatti Street. It’s a pretty busy area with a lot of foot traffic. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to drop by. We’ve got some old wooden shelves that are sagging under the weight of all the files we keep. We deal with various imports and exports, so there’s always something different happening. One week it’s textiles, and the next it might be small machine parts. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who have known each other for a long time. We don't use any corporate lingo here. We just talk like regular people. If there’s a problem with a shipment, we just call the person and try to fix it. It’s much easier than sending a bunch of formal emails back and forth. The floor is made of old tile that’s a bit cracked in places, but it doesn't bother us. We have a small radio that plays local songs in the background. It keeps the mood light when we’re dealing with a lot of paperwork. Madathupatti Street is a lively place to work. You can hear the vendors calling out their prices all day. We’ve been here for several years now and we’ve become a part of the local landscape. We don’t have any grand goals, we just want to keep the operations running smoothly and make sure our families are taken care of. It’s a practical, straightforward life.
