Meena Textiles

Meena Textiles is right here at 98/5 Middle Street in Chatrapatti. It's been a bit since we started working in this part of town. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but we keep busy with the fabrics and orders that come through. Most days involve just folding things, checking the stock, and talking to whoever walks in the door. Middle Street gets pretty crowded in the afternoons, especially when the local tea stall nearby starts getting busy. We have a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise, but they do the job when it gets hot out. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the lane is so narrow and trucks struggle to find space, but we manage somehow. It’s just us here, doing what we do every day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, though we never seem to get around to it. We deal with all sorts of textiles and just try to get through the pile of work on the desk. People in Chatrapatti know where to find us if they need anything specific. It’s a quiet enough life most of the time. We don't have a big website or anything like that, just the physical space where we sit and work. It's simple enough. Most of the time it’s just the sound of the scissors or the rustle of cloth filling up the room. Anyway, that is pretty much us. We just stay here.
