Gowri Chandrika & Co

Our place is at No : 193-B, right on Ashok Talkies Road. It’s a familiar street for most people around here because of the old theatre nearby. We’ve been running Gowri Chandrika & Co from this same spot for a lot of years now. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us and a few helpers making sure everything runs smooth every day. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy and holds everything we need. Most days are pretty much the same; we open up, check what needs to be done, and wait for customers to come by. Being on Ashok Talkies Road means we see a lot of foot traffic. Some people just pop their heads in to say hello, while others are looking for specific items we carry. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to be a reliable shop where people feel comfortable walking in. Our walls are lined with stock, and sometimes it looks a little cluttered, but we know where everything sits. If you ask for something, we can usually find it in a minute or two. We don't like using fancy jargon to sound important. We’re just a local business trying to make a living and help out the people who live and work in this part of town.
