Sri Ramalakshmi Textiles

We've been here at 188c Bj Complex for a while now. Vrinda Street is usually pretty busy, especially in the mornings when the sun hits the front of the shop. Sri Ramalakshmi Textiles is just where we spend most of our days. It’s not fancy. There are stacks of fabric everywhere, and sometimes the fans don't keep it cool enough, but we get by. Erode is a big place for cloth, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops around here. People come in looking for specific things, and we try to find what they need in the piles. Sometimes it takes a minute. We deal with suppliers and truckers constantly. It’s loud out on the street with the scooters and the loading. We keep a ledger on the desk that’s a bit messy, but it works for us. Usually, someone is making tea or sitting on the stools out front when it's quiet.
