Ssd Garments is over in Khandelwal Complex on Kamptee Lane. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to find since we're right near the main complex building. We’ve been here for a while now, just handling the garment trade. It's a small shop, mostly filled with stacks of fabric and boxes ready for shipping. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is handled properly. The lane gets a bit hectic in the afternoons, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We handle all sorts of clothing items. Mostly, we deal with wholesale buyers who come through the complex looking for stock. I usually spend my time talking to vendors or checking the inventory on the shelves. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We don’t do any of that corporate stuff like mission statements. We just try to get the garments ready and out to the people who ordered them. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we make do. My brother helps me out with the books, and we have one helper for the heavy lifting. It’s a simple setup. We like it that way. No big overheads or fancy decorations in the office. Just a place to work and do business. Most of our regular customers have been coming to us for years and know the way.
