You can find us at Plot No. 329 in the 2nd Guldhar area of Jagriti Vihar, Sector-23. It’s a typical industrial plot where we do a lot of metalwork and spring making. The building is functional—just brick and mortar with a heavy roof to keep the sun off. Inside, the machines are the main focus. They are old but they are reliable, and we spend a fair amount of time maintaining them. We make various metal products along with the springs, so there is always a variety of stuff lying around. Some days we are making thousands of tiny pieces, and other days we are working on something much larger. We don't have any flashy signs or a big website; people mostly find us because they know we are here and we’ve been here for a while. The guys working here are good at what they do, even if they don't say much. We have a small area where we sit for lunch and talk about the news or the cricket scores. It is a steady life. We don't try to be something we aren't; we just provide the parts that people need for their own businesses or projects. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but the work gets done and that’s what matters. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily production list. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, and we just wait and drink tea until it arrives.
