Being on the Sklm Road in Prashanti Nagar puts us right where the farmers pass by on their way to the fields. We deal with all sorts of agro services, which mostly means we keep a stock of seeds, fertilizers, and some basic tools. The shop usually smells like earth and sacks of grain, which is something we have grown to like. Depending on the season, we are either very busy with people buying stuff for planting or it is a bit slower when they are just waiting for the rain. We talk to a lot of people every day about their crops and what seems to be working for them this year. It is more of a community spot than just a store. We have a few chairs out front where people sit and talk for a bit before heading back to their villages. We don't use any fancy systems, just a big ledger where we write everything down by hand. Sometimes we have to move heavy bags around, so it keeps us on our feet all day. The road outside is always busy with tractors and trucks moving back and forth. We have been at this spot in Prashanti Nagar for quite some time now, and we know exactly what the local land needs. It is just honest work, helping people get what they need for their farm. If we don't have something in stock, we try to get it by the following week. It is a steady life.
