You can find Pradeep Metals Ltd right in the middle of Kathali Bazar in Sironj. We are part of the Vidisha district here in Madhya Pradesh, postcode 464228. Being in a bazaar means it’s always busy and there’s a lot of noise from people shopping and trucks moving around. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a place where we keep our metal stock and handle sales. We have been here for years, and most of the other shopkeepers around Kathali Bazar are our friends. We open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. The work is mostly about moving heavy items and keeping track of the inventory. It can get quite dusty and hot in the summer months, but we don't mind it much. We don’t have a fancy website or any marketing people. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for a long time. They just walk in, tell us what they need, and we get it for them. Sometimes the deliveries from the suppliers are late, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. We just try to keep a fair stock of things so people don’t have to go all the way to Vidisha. It’s a simple, local business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
