Larsen& Toubro Ltd Ecc Division

Our spot is in Sichai Colony, over in Shamshabad. This is in the Vidisha district, specifically the Tehsil Nateran area of Madhya Pradesh. We are the Ecc Division of Larsen& Toubro Ltd. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here if you aren't from the area, but we like the quiet of 464111. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got what we need to manage the local construction and engineering tasks. It’s a lot of dusty boots and maps spread out on tables. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We are more interested in the projects happening out in the field. People in Shamshabad know we are here for work. We interact with the local workers and suppliers every day. It’s a hands-on kind of environment. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Just some engineers and supervisors trying to stay on top of the schedule. The weather out here can be tough, especially in the summer, but we just keep going. We eat our lunch together and talk about the progress we’re making. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. We’ve been part of this community for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of life in Vidisha.
