Our shop, Woode Art & Furiture, is located right on S.B. Road in the Baijathpara area. It’s a busy street, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic. We spend most of our days surrounded by wood planks and the sound of saws. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we are used to it by now. We make chairs, tables, and sometimes bigger cupboards if someone asks for them. The floor is almost always covered in sawdust, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our stuff is just stacked up in the back or near the front where people can see it as they walk by. It’s a straightforward business. We get the wood, we cut it, and we put things together. Some days the humidity makes the wood hard to work with, and we have to wait for it to dry properly. We use basic tools mostly. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually rough from the sanding and the glue. People in Baijathpara know us for being around for a long time. We don't do fancy advertisements. Usually, someone just sees a neighbor's table and asks where it came from. We like it that way. It’s just honest work with our hands. If you’re coming down S.B. Road, you’ll hear the hammering before you see us. We are just a local shop doing what we know.
