Our place is in Raipur, over in Priyadershni Nagar. We are based in the Pitrachaya Apartment on the fourth floor. It’s a central spot in Chhattisgarh which helps us keep an eye on everything coming and going. We work with imports and exports along with some local courier stuff. There are usually boxes stacked in the corner and someone is always typing away on a keyboard. Raipur is a growing city and we see that in how much more work we have lately. We handle a lot of different goods and it’s our job to make sure they get through the paperwork phase. The office is small but we make it work. We have some good neighbors in the building and it’s a friendly atmosphere. Most of the day is spent checking manifests or calling clients to update them on their stuff. We don't really have a set routine because every day depends on what arrives at the depot. Sometimes it’s quiet and we can catch up on filing, but other times it’s a total mess of phone calls. We just try to stay organized and not lose anything in the shuffle. It’s a straightforward life here in Raipur, just working hard and making sure the shipments don't sit for too long. We’ve been here for a bit and know the local routes well.
