Our office is located in the Dangania area of Raipur, specifically in Sector-3 of Pt. DDU Nagar. Raipur is a heavy-duty town, and being in the steel industry, we fit right in. The office is in a MIG building, so it feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. It’s not some big glass tower; it’s just a regular building where we’ve set up our workspace. Outside, you can hear the bikes and cars buzzing by all day. We handle a lot of the regional work for Visa Steel here, making sure the distribution side of things doesn't hit any snags. It gets incredibly hot in Raipur, so we mostly stay indoors with the AC humming in the background. The staff here is a mix of local people and a few who moved here for the job. We share stories over tea and try to keep the atmosphere light even when there’s a lot of pressure from the plant. The desks are usually covered in ledger books and printouts. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, working hard and making sure the steel business keeps humming along in this part of Chhattisgarh. It's a no-nonsense kind of place for no-nonsense kind of work. We just do what needs to be done.
