Vedanta Resources Plc

Our office for Vedanta Resources Plc is situated in the NTPC Township at Jamnipali. Specifically, we are at C 922 in Krishna Vihar. Being inside a township in Korba means it’s a bit different from a standard city office. It’s a controlled area, so things stay pretty orderly around here. We have a modest space where we handle the daily routine. Most of the people working here live nearby, so there isn’t much of a commute. The building itself is a standard residential-style block that’s been converted for our use. We have a few rooms filled with cabinets and computers. It’s nothing like the fancy skyscrapers you see on TV. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief given the weather in Chhattisgarh. Sometimes the power flickers, but we have a backup to keep the lights on. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't really have a reception area, so if you come by, you’ll probably just walk right into where we’re working. We try to keep things organized, though there’s usually a stack of folders on someone's desk waiting to be filed. It’s a straightforward environment. We just show up, get the tasks finished, and then lock up for the evening. It’s a quiet life here in Krishna Vihar, and that suits us just fine.
