Our office is out in Satna, over in Madhya Pradesh. We are located in Ward Number 22, inside the Krishna Nagar Colony. It is a residential-feeling area, so it is not too loud or hectic during the day. The building we are in is just a regular two-story place. We occupy part of it for our daily tasks. It has got a bit of a porch where we sometimes stand to get some fresh air. The colony is mostly families, so there are kids playing in the street in the evenings after school. We have been here for a good while and we like the location. It is easy for people to find once they get into Krishna Nagar. We don't have any high-tech security or anything, just a good old-fashioned lock and key. Inside, the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us much as we are busy. We have our computers and our records all laid out on simple wooden desks. It is a no-frills kind of environment. We focus on getting the work done rather than worrying about what the office looks like to strangers. The local market isn't too far away, so someone usually heads out to get tea or snacks for the group once or twice a day. It is a very normal, local way to run things. We like being part of the neighborhood here in Satna.
