It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from Bastar, but it’s a good spot for us. Being near the medical college helps because there’s always people around who know about health stuff. Our office is a simple building, nothing that would stand out from the road. We spend most of our time dealing with healthcare logistics and making sure everything is running right. It’s dusty out here sometimes, and the roads aren't always the smoothest, but we like the location. It’s quiet enough to get things done. We started Umikom because we wanted to have a local presence in this part of Chhattisgarh. It’s mostly just a few rooms with some computers and shelves. We don't have a big receptionist or anything, you just walk in and someone will help you. Sometimes the rain in Bastar makes it hard to get around, but we stay open as much as we can. We aren't here to make a big scene, just to provide a steady service for the healthcare sector. It’s a practical office for practical people. If you’re near the college, just head toward the back and you’ll see our gate. We usually keep some extra umbrellas by the door because the weather here is so unpredictable.
