Ultratech Cement Limited(Aditya Birla Group)

Our office for Ultratech Cement Limited(Aditya Birla Group) is located in Room 12 of the Kushal building, right inside the HCW Township in Hirmi. It’s part of the Raipur district. This is a company town, so almost everyone around here is connected to the plant in one way or another. Our office is a small room where we handle the local coordination and paperwork. It’s pretty practical and no-frills. We have a couple of desks and some files piled up in the corner. The township is a self-contained place, which makes it easier to get to work, though it can feel a bit small sometimes. We deal with the day-to-day stuff that comes with a big cement operation. There’s always someone coming in to ask about a delivery schedule or a missing slip. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting at the desk. The weather in Chhattisgarh can be tough, especially the humidity and the summer sun, but the office is where we spend most of our hours. We aren't here to give sales pitches or use corporate jargon. We just manage the tasks that need doing to keep the supply chain moving. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to the main plant. We’ve been in Room 12 for a while now, and it’s become our regular spot. It’s just how things go in a place like this.
