Tribal Charity Foundation

Tribal Charity Foundation is based at Plot 333 on Tapkara Road. We are in the village of Gadaka, which is part of Jashpurnagar in Jashpur. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like the quiet of the village. The office is care of Piyush Tirkey, so people in the area usually know where to find us. We don't have a fancy storefront or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and focus on our charity work. The surroundings are quite green, especially after the rains, which is a nice change from the city. We spend our days talking to people from the village and organizing the different things we have going on. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes things don’t go as planned, but we keep at it. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and a lot of to-do lists. Everyone here chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s cleaning the office or filing papers. We are just a small group of people who care about this area. Tapkara Road can be quiet in the evenings, but during the day there’s usually some activity. We stay busy with our daily routines and try to be as useful as possible to the folks around Gadaka. It is a long way from the city, but this is where we need to be.
