The India Cements Ltd

Our office is over at Gokul Galaxy on the Sarda Nagar Link Road in Banswara. It’s a decent spot that’s easy enough for the transport drivers to find when they’re coming in from out of town or the main highway. We handle the administrative and sales side for India Cements in this particular area of Rajasthan. The building itself isn't anything spectacular to look at, but it serves our purpose for filing papers and meeting with local contractors who need supplies. There's usually a lot of dust on the windows because of the constant traffic on the Link Road. We spend most of our time coordinating with the various warehouses and making sure the supplies reach the construction projects happening around the city. It gets quite hot in the afternoons here, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we check the delivery notes. We aren't a big team, just a few people who have been doing this for many years now. We know the local market and who needs what for their building sites. Sometimes there are delays at the plant, and we have to explain that to the customers, which isn't always the best part of the day. But generally, things run okay most of the time. We don't use any high-tech systems, just the usual registers and some basic computers for the data entry. We like the location because it’s central to where a lot of the new development is happening. It’s a regular job for us, and we try to keep things simple.
