You can find Swargiya Usha Devi Education Foundation over at E 05 in Alka Avenue. We are situated in the Uslapur and Mangla area, which is a decent part of town to work from. The building itself is pretty quiet most days. We started this whole thing because we wanted to have a dedicated space for our educational activities. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for our desks and a few chairs for visitors. We spend our time going through documents and planning out what we need to do for the next month. The neighbors at Alka Avenue are friendly and we see them coming and going while we work. It’s a very local feel here. We don't use any high-tech systems or anything like that. Just simple computers and a lot of notebooks. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is cool enough to talk things over. We like staying grounded in this community. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just focus on education and managing the foundation’s needs. The office is usually open early, and we stay until the work is finished. It’s a practical way to run things. We handle our own chores and make our own tea. If you come by, you’ll probably see us just working away on whatever project is currently on the table. It is a slow process but we enjoy being here and doing the work we chose for ourselves.
