Suryawan Livestock Producer Companylimited

Our group is based out of the Mahatma Phule Ward. We are set up at the home of Shri Gulabrao S. Behare. It’s more of a community effort than a corporate office. We formed this producer company to help the local folks who raise livestock. When you have a bunch of small farmers working together, things just go better. We focus on the animals around here, making sure people can get what they need without traveling too far. Most of our meetings happen right there in the ward, sitting around and talking about the best way to handle the upcoming season. We aren't interested in being some giant brand. We just want the livestock in our area to be healthy and for the producers to get a fair price. The name Suryawan comes from our local roots. We deal with everything from goats to cattle, depending on what the members are raising at the time. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it’s a bit disorganized, but we always figure it out. We don't have a marketing budget or a fancy sign out front. People know where Gulabrao lives, and they know that's where we get things done. It’s a very local way of doing business, which is exactly how we like it. We focus on the practical side of farming and livestock care. It’s honest work that supports the families in our neighborhood and helps everyone get by.
