Store Keeper

Our Store Keeper setup is located at the Ohe Sub Station near the Simga Railway Crossing in Tilda, Raipur. It is right out there in the Chhattisgarh countryside. Being near the railway crossing means we hear the trains go by all day and night. It is a very practical location for what we do because the transport links are right there. The building is basic with a tin roof that gets very loud when it rains hard. I spend my time tracking the electrical components and heavy cables that come through the sub station. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the trolley. I keep the logbooks on a wooden desk that has seen better days. The dust from the railway tracks blows in often so we are always wiping down the equipment. It is just me out here most of the time managing the incoming shipments. I make sure the gate is locked tight because we have some valuable copper and steel in the yard. The locals know me as the guy who is always counting something. We don't have any fancy signs out front. If you see the substation near the tracks you have found us. It is a quiet life except for the trains but I like the routine of it. We keep things simple and functional.
