We have the usual things people need for their kitchens and then the cold stuff in the back. Samta Colony is a nice enough place to have a business. It’s a lot of hours to put in every week. We open up early to catch the people going to the clinic and stay late for the cinema crowd. The shop gets a bit crowded sometimes because we have so much stuff on the shelves. It’s not a polished place with shiny floors. It’s just a regular store where people can get what they need. We don’t do any big promotions or anything. Most people in Samta Colony just know we are here at Plot 335. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking on this street because of the cinema, but people still manage to come in. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our customers by their first names. It’s a decent life running a shop like this. We just keep going one day at a time.
