Sr Motors

You can find us at Plot B/23 in Shyam Market. It’s on Jeevan Bima Marg in the Pandri area, quite close to the railway station. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement around here. Sr Motors is just a small outfit. We deal with cars and the usual mechanical problems that come with them. The shop is tucked away in the market, so it can be a bit tight when we have more than a couple of vehicles in. The concrete floor is cracked in a few places and we’ve got tools scattered across the benches. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a working garage. We spend a lot of time under hoods or squeezed into footwells trying to find a loose wire. The trains passing by make a lot of noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Some days it’s just one oil change after another, and other days we are scratching our heads over a gearbox that won't behave. There’s always a bit of grease under our fingernails no matter how much we wash. We keep a stash of old parts in the back just in case someone needs a specific bolt or bracket. It’s a simple life here in Pandri. We open up early, drink some tea, and see what the day brings. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby or work in the market. We just do the work.
