Sks Ispat & Power Limited, Raipur (C.G.)

We are located over at B-1 in Patel Nagar, right along Raisen Road here in Bhopal. Even though the company name mentions Raipur, this is where we handle a lot of the local coordination and paperwork for this side of the business. The office isn't very large, just a few desks and some filing cabinets that are starting to overflow a bit. It is easy to find us if you know the landmark, though the traffic on Raisen Road can be a real headache during the evening rush. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we sort through the daily logs. Bhopal has its own pace, and we try to keep up with it without getting too stressed. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of what’s happening back at the main plant. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the weather gets rough, but we just wait it out and get back to work. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that, just a door that stays open during the day so the breeze can come through. People drop by occasionally to drop off letters or just to ask questions about the power and steel side of things. It is a quiet, functional spot in M.P. where we manage the bits and pieces of the larger operation without much fuss. We've been here a good while now and the routine is pretty set.
