Shyamji Rice Industries

Shyamji Rice Industries is situated out in Village-Belbhata, not far from Nayak Bandha Road. It is a quiet and rural area in the Raipur district, mostly surrounded by open fields and farmland. We are technically located at Post Aghanpur within the Raipur Taluka. Working with rice out here feels like the right thing to do because the crops are growing all around us in every direction. Our facility is essentially a big, open shed where we handle all the processing and sorting. It involves a lot of physical labor, like moving heavy bags and keeping an eye on the old equipment. We do not have a big corporate management team, just local people from the nearby village working together every day. Some of us have been working at this spot since we were quite young. The air around the shed usually smells like toasted grain in the late afternoons. It is a very practical sort of business. We do not spend any of our money on fancy decorations or office furniture. Most of our floor space is used for storing the grain until it is ready. The road out here, Nayak Bandha Road, is mostly used by slow tractors and the occasional large truck coming to pick up a fresh load. We have to follow the natural seasons very closely. When the harvest season arrives, we stay busy from sunrise until way past dark. It is just how life goes in Belbhata.
