Shouryaishwarya Foundation

We are located in the Sahid Mangal Pandey Ward in Sarkanda, Bilaspur. Our office is at Savitri Sao’s place, not too far from the Muktidham area. It’s a quiet part of town, which is good for the kind of work we do. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet with people. We’ve been in this ward for quite some time now. Most of the neighbors know who we are. We spend our days dealing with various issues that come up in the local community. It’s not always exciting work. A lot of it is just listening to people and trying to figure out a way forward. We don’t have any fancy slogans or mission statements pinned to the wall. We just show up and do the work. Sometimes we walk around the neighborhood to see how things are going. It gets pretty hot in Bilaspur, so we usually take a break in the middle of the day. The furniture in the office is a bit old, and the desk wobbles if you type too fast, but it works for us. We aren’t trying to change the whole city, just this one little corner of it.
