You can find us at Shop No. 19 in the Kamla Super Market, which is on Station Road near Telghani Naka. It’s a busy part of the city because of the station being so close. There's always a lot of noise and people moving about. We deal with different kinds of machinery and spare parts. Our shop is packed with heavy metal components and tools. It’s a bit greasy at times, but that’s expected in this line of work. We spend our days helping people find the right parts for their machines or explaining how something works. The market is quite old, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. It’s a small shop, so we have to be clever about how we stack things to fit everything in. Station Road is always crowded, so getting deliveries in can be a challenge. We don't have any fancy displays. Everything is just out where people can see it. It’s a family business, and we take pride in knowing our stock inside and out. We start our day when the market opens and usually don't leave until late. Most of the other shopkeepers in Kamla Super Market are like friends to us. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we enjoy being in the middle of all the action. We have an old fan that makes a lot of noise but doesn't do much. We write most receipts by hand.
