Sam Earth Mover

You can find us over at Gajraj Building. We are on the second floor. It is right behind the Gurudwara, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find the place for the first time. We handle earth moving stuff, so things get pretty dirty out in the field, even if the office is upstairs. The building is old but it stays cool enough in the summer. We spend most of our time coordinating where the machines need to go. Sam Earth Mover has been operating from this spot for a bit now. It is mostly just us sitting around the table looking at maps or talking to drivers on their mobiles to see where they are. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have any big signs or anything fancy out front. People just know we are here. The second floor is a bit of a climb if you are tired, but it gives us a decent view of what is happening behind the Gurudwara. We keep things pretty simple. There are some old chairs for visitors and a lot of files piled up on the desks. Most of the real work happens out at the sites where the dirt is actually being moved. Here, it is just about making sure the machines are where they should be and the fuel is sorted out for the morning. It isn't much to look at, but we get things done.
