S. S. D. Clinical Lab & Blood Bank

You can find us at Katora Talab Chowk. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always noise and people moving around. Being a blood bank and a clinical lab means we have to be very organized, even if the building looks a bit old from the outside. People come here for all sorts of tests. We see a lot of people in a hurry. The chowk is a landmark on its own, so we don't usually have to give much directions. Just tell them we are at Katora Talab and they find us. Inside, it’s a lot of white coats and paperwork. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can because nobody likes waiting for lab results. The air conditioning is always on because of the equipment. It’s a bit of a contrast to the heat outside in the chowk. We have some regular donors who come in every few months. We know them by name now. It’s a busy life here. Sometimes the samples pile up and we have to stay late to finish everything. We don't really have a lot of time for sitting around. The lab has been here for a good while. It’s just a part of the daily scene at the chowk now. We just do the tests and give out the reports. Simple as that.
